On 13 July 2024, In students and parents meet with the program session, Dr. Wimonmat Srichamroen, PGS Program Director, welcomed students and parents, providing the overview and direction of program, student guidelines, and Q&A sessions for parents and students. After that students were getting to know and talk to their respective student advisors who will help students until they are graduated.
On 28 June 2024, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Prakorn Siriprakob, Dean of Faculty of Political Science, welcomed PGS first year students in a preparatory course “First Meet with the Dean in relaxed atmosphere” where the Dean discussed the overview of the faculty of political science as well as the near future for the faculty of political science and PGS program.
PGS Program is organizing the "FIRST MEET" event, which is part of the orientation program for new students in the academic year 2024 on June 14, 2024. The main objectives of this event are to provide students with the knowledge and understanding necessary to adapt to life during their studies at Chulalongkorn University and partner universities, to foster relationships between senior and junior students, and to enhance the relationship between students, faculty members, and staff of the program. Associate Professor Dr. Pakorn Siriprakob, Dean of the Faculty of Political Science, honor us with a welcome speech for the new students and share insights on university life, extracurricular activities, and preliminary preparation for studying abroad.
On May 8, 2024, the Faculty of Political Science hosted Professor Heather Zwicker, Executive Dean, Faculty of Humanities, Arts and Social Science, University Of Queensland, and Ms. Majella Ferguson, Senior Manager International Services, for the introductory session for a new cohort of students who will travel to study at the University of Queensland under the PGS program.
On 27 April 2024, Dr. Wimonmat Srichamroen, PGS Program Director, took the stage at Warwick Institute along with Dr. Apichai Chaiwinij, Leading at Warwick Institute as a moderator in an exclusive talk event, PGS Open House 2024 at Warwick Institute.
On 27 April 2024, Asst. Prof. Dr. Jiraporn Laocharoenwong and PGS students took a boat trip starting from Bangkoknoi Community to Rajini Pier. Along the way, the students were given lecture and visit many important places and community which broaden their urban and migration outlook and experience a wide variety of cross-cultural discoveries and relationships.
On 26 April 2024, our esteemed guest speaker, Mr. Hemmawit Ponnaku took a stage at PGS in the topic “Business Strategic Planning, Opportunity, and Possibility“ in PGS’s Leadership Strategic Management course. His insight and experience have been an eye-opening lecture for PGS students to understand the current situation in labor force from the expert in that field.
On 23 April 2024, Dr. Pimsiri Aroonsri, Dr. Kunphatu Sakwit, and PGS students had an opportunity to visit Bang O Community in Cross-Cultural Management Field Trip. This field trip provided an opportunity for students to visit, learn, and experience Bang O community and its multi-cultures to broaden their perspectives and understanding how multi culture community discoveries and relationships.
On 9 and 23 April 2024, our esteemed guest speaker, Asst. Prof. Dr. Kanokwan Somsirivarangkool, Lecturer at Department of Sociology and Anthropology, Chiangmai University, took a stage at PGS in the topic “Social Suspension“ in PGS’s Urban Migration course. Her insight and experience in the position as Lecturer has been an eye-opening lecture for PGS students to understand the current situation in labor force from the expert in that field.
